Chick Flicks Ruined: Slumdog Millionaire
1) 2 brothers and Freda pinto run away from slums they are from b/c of
religious persecution.
2) 1 brother loves Freda and says it’s their “destiny” to be together
the rest of their lives.
3) Other brother is jealous of relationship b/c the other 2 and leaves
her behind when they have to run away again
4) First brother spends the rest of his life trying to find her and he
does, but other brother is still jealous and turns into a thug and has to
steal Freda Pinto for his boss who is a pimp and drug dealer and the
movie insinuates that brother 2 rapes her.
5) The brother ends up letting Freda Pinto go from her “pimp” to go to
his brother.
6) Brother 1 uses his “call a friend” lifeline on the show and calls his
brother’s cell phone b/c he knows he’s probably with Freda Pinto. She
answers bc brother gives her the cell phone when he lets her go and
the two find each other and kiss.
7) He wins Who Wants to be a Millionaire. He knows the answers
because every answer is related to something horrible that happened
in his life.
8) And everyone lives happily ever after….oh…but the other brother
gets in a bath tub and fills it with different increments of money and
blows his brains out before the “pimp” realizes he’s the one who let
Freda Pinto go.
